I don't think that I have ever watched a dude play high level college hoop like Cohen does. It is all suuuuper awkward but his footwork is is really good, he plays at his own pace and he just puts the ball in the basket when he gets in the post. Only took 32 threes but made 11 and I was never uncomfortable when he shot them.

His defense is a major problem though. He only had 16 blocks as a 6'10 dude in the A10 and Frank had to sit him down the stretch of close games more often than you should need to sit a first team all-league player. Frank likes to play through a big, and Cohen fit that, and I think leaving UMass was probably about money but there is no way Frank Martin enjoyed having a star player that was a negative on defense. I doubt he asked the collective to burn money to bring him back.

I think he could contribute as a starter in the ACC. He will get his offensively against anyone one way or another but I think he would get murdered defensively. It would be far from perfect but if you have a rim protecting big like McLeod (or Patterson?) behind him I think it could work here. If he is looking to be the focal point on a P6 team he will get eaten alive but there is a fit for him at this level, IMO.

Is he a possibility here? I am very confident that the board would hate him as soon as they watch his film. LOL
