...and too many schools will be included over-values buyouts in coaches contracts in a few years, which will become known as Round II, Obscene Coach Buyouts ...Some really bad hires are going to be made this offseason.
To many "elite" jobs will be open and no where near the level of coach needed to go around.
Yep they will all be looking for splash hires instead of the right fit. Scott Woodward will be interesting at LSU, what horrible contract will he dole out next? Some really bad hires are going to be made this offseason.

don't forget the dancing and killing a kid
Even more fun, Franklin, Kelly, and others will likely just move to peer programs. Not good enough for LSU and PSU, but Florida, UCLA, Virginia Tech, love them. Crazy.Fact is there isn’t really any proven hires any program can make. No one has really proven themselves in the new college football era. The ADs especially at LSU, Florida, and Penn State are in an awful position. Likely going to be forced to make a hire for appeasement and not the actual best hire because even the best hire would likely be unproven. I personally like the positioning we are in right now long term which includes keeping Fran and in the ACC. I actually feel like the future of the ACC lately is more optimistic.
Maybe more NFL coordinators will decide to become head coaches with big buyouts instead. Joe Brady, etc. You get a raise, you get a big enough buyout... why not? You can always go back to being OC in the NFL again if you fail. In the NFL you can get canned easily after 1 year. Few college programs have ADs who can do that--UCLA is the only firing in Year 2. I could see LSU bring him back if PSU does not want him. I am sure that there are many others.Yep they will all be looking for splash hires instead of the right fit. FIFYThe kid killing goes with him when he takes a job back up north or out west.
Unfortunately, he won't be saying "ma whole fammmiluh is happy to be here"
Unfortunately, there are few athletic deep pockets who would even spend a nanosecond to consider contributing to the academic side of the house, especially in the SEC and B1G.Imagine if all this buyout money went to educating students. <cue john lennon>
Needs to go to Ped State next and drag them down further then.brian kelly ruins another program. his track record of letdowns is unmatched
With his dances with recruits, he is eminently qualifiedIf I am Perv St - I go after Kelly before I hire Ruhl.

We are a train wreck right now, not sure any elites recruits are gonna want to make that leap. Too bad we tanked this year...Brian Kelly is fired let’s get their recruits. Next year can be so special for us
True statement here from someone I’m really close with and close to LSU, Brian Kelly was having an affair with a real estate agent. Big group of boosters found out. Part of the reason he’s getting fired and now they are trying to not pay him because of a “morality” clause built into his contract. Wild timesLSU can can Kelly and eat 54 million and we cant can former LSU qb for 500k?
