[QUOTE="Orangezoo, post: 5528642, member: 237"] Re reading this without tired eyes lots of good nuggets in here. Love the comments on Diawara and Fennell given they are the late arrivals. Bummer like discussed on Kiyan but his game is as a scorer and seems we have a lot of guys that do other things on the court and the dirty work so you get that balance. Sadiq gives me the vibe of our shot at Andre Jackson 2.0. That menacing ability to defend and elite athleticism is such an X factor to have on your team. The fact we can have a big like Souare who personifies that as well ( albeit at a lower ceiling) is exciting as well. Sadiq is not a guard so not saying he’s going to be a do it all type like Jackson but the rebounding and defending with that athleticism and high motor can change games. Love the comments on Donnie , Betsey and Kyle. Their skillsets, along with Kingz too pair so well ( and really the whole team) with a pick and roll style PG. Having an effective pick and roll offense is the epitome of showcasing how basketball is still a simple game. It’s been around forever and is still extremely effective because it immediately puts a defense out of balance. The JJ comments are interesting too. Has he truly taken that step forward that seemed he just wasn’t ever going to be capable of? At a minimum he should be able to benefit like Joe did from truly being a 2. Doing what he excels at and picking his spots while more importantly making defense a priority would be the best thing he could do. The attention to defending Donnie and then then the PNR with a shooter on the wing should open things up for JJ consistently for certain. I suspect early on he will get more attention until we prove that playing through Donnie and George is highly efficient and he will have to be ok deferring and being a decoy until defenses adjust again.
