2025 Army / Navy Game

Boo!
My son went there received_733697986442487.jpeg

Congratulations. I am retired Navy but worked for the Army (as a civilian) the last 8 years prior to retiring for good. I happened to be around the Army when the Navy was dominating the series and after a couple of years I found it better to say nothing. People were good for the most part, but there were some who would get upset.

I was fortunate enough to be able to attend the Army / Navy game for 11 years. It is by far the best sporting event I have ever been to.

Is your son still in? If so, where is he stationed. My kids live in Korea and I visit Camp Humphreys and Camp Henry (Daegu) a couple of times a year.

My son is currently working at a NATO unit in the Netherlands. We just visited him for Thanksgiving.

He has spent most of his career overseas. He was at Yongson in Seoul as a Company Commander about 12 years ago. Great assignment

Netherlands is a great country. Some people don't like the Dutch directness and blunt style but I appreciate it. Glad you can visit your son.

Going to West Point for a fall football game should be on every college football fans bucket list. I wish Syracuse would play at Army.

I'd say the same about Navy, but while the Naval Academy is beautiful and on the water in Annapolis, the stadium is in the middle of a neighborhood and underwhelming. I used to live in that neighborhood, so it was kinda nice to see tailgates setup across the street from my house on Saturday mornings.

Attending an Army-Navy game should also be on the bucket list. I've only gone to one. I really want to get back to one, but the timing of the game makes it difficult. Need to get these monsters off the payroll, out of my house, and get my life back.
