The Mets just announced an extension to the contract they have with WPIX.  They have been televising some Mets games, mostly in weekends for decades.  The contract was expiring this year but has been expanded through 2028.

it has provisions to televise 30 games a season.  And for 2026-2028, these games will also be televised on Nexstsr TV stations in Connecticut and upstate NY.

One of those stations is WSYR in Syracuse, aka as channel 9, the ABC channel locally.

These games have generally been available for decades on one of the obscure  local Syracuse stations, typically channel 7 on Spectrum.  This should make it easier to get these games, especially if you have cut the cable.  I have enjoyed watching Mets games streamed on MLB when I have been away from the house.  Mich better streaming option than the SNY web site.

Now we just gotta hold it together over the tough stretch of games we face the rest of the season and make it to the playoffs.  If you can make it to the playoffs these days, anything is possible.  Just gotta get hot at the right time.
