Should we start to ask  "questions" about how the Atlanta Braves hit the ball so well in 2023. The Braves in 2023 had a historic year offensively, where they had an OPS+ of 126... no other team was above 116 that year. 8 of the 9 starters on the team performed well above their recent average in other years between 2021-2025, and all 9 performed better.

Here are the average OPS of the 9 starters the Braves had in 2023, vs how those same 9 players  performed in their other recent years.
2021 - 97
2022 - 108
2023 - 130
2024 - 98
2025 - 103

(Note for 2025, 2 of the 2023 players had played very little in 2025 (no longer start), so I used their 2024 OPS.

By player, here is their 2023 OPS compared to their average of 2021/22/24/25.
