Let's assume that Dallas stops the run better.  First, it's not likely to be THAT much better as Clark is above-average, but not necessarily someone for whom you have to game-plan.

But their pass defense is decidedly weakened.  Probably the only thing that kept the defensive backs from being totally exposed was Parsons' unnatural pass rushing skills.  At least three of their DB's go into the season injured.

Jerrah said at that embarrassing press conference that they have several guys who can rush the passer and that they've had success.  True, they've had [B]some[/B] success, but w/o having to game-plan for Parsons, teams can simply carve that secondary apart.

Parsons was by far the best asset in the trade.  While Dallas will only suck a little more without him, players like him rarely fall into a team's lap.  He did, now he's gone.  Does anyone think that Jerrah, in his dotage, will do as well, or any better?   When he also has to find Dak's replacement?

The Packers are the winners as are the other teams in the NFC East.
