He started last year and should once again be in the lineup, either at left or right tackle. Reports say he’s more comfortable at right tackle, but we’ll see how it plays out. As a senior, the expectation is that he steps up as a leader and provides consistency. It’s his time to make it to the league.

AUSTIN COLLINS
The Louisville transfer is expected to start immediately at center. Landing him out of the portal was a huge win, and he should make an impact right away.

KAM PRINGLE

A redshirt freshman transfer from South Carolina, Pringle looks to be the future at left tackle. He has the size and skill to lock down that spot this season and for years to come.
BRYON WASHINGTON

Washington, a true freshman, is already making noise. He’s a brick wall in the run game and just as strong in pass protection. He has the potential to be a dominant starting guard from the jump.

TJ FERGUSON
The FSU transfer struggled last year, but this season could define his career. Slated to start at right guard, he has the talent to take a big step forward.

OTHER NAMES TO WATCH
Naquil Betrand and Zach Rice are both in the mix. Rice, a former five-star recruit, could challenge Ferguson for the starting spot if he lives up to his potential. That kind of motivation is only good for the line. Betrand, who has experience at Texas A&M and Alabama, is still young — just a redshirt sophomore — and brings plenty of upside for the future.
