This obviously doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, but I find it interesting that Notre Dame and Syracuse were considered by IL to have the best midfields in the country, but don't place a single midfielder on the all ACC team. Yet Duke somehow has two.

I think Johnston will be a great player, but I think English (34), Leo (37) McLane (45) and perhaps Faison (30) should be chosen over him. Johnston had the fewest points (29 points) of those midfielders listed. I'd probably take a midfield made up of the two Syracuse players and McLane over who was chosen for the All ACC team. Points aren't everything, but I don't think Johnston did anything else on the field to make himself better than the other four listed players.

Also seems like they have it out for transfers, as none were selected for the team. Jamieson over Gianforcaro? Really? McLane and English are both transfers and were also left off. Other than that nothing egregious. Again, doesn't really matter!

I think Inside Lacrosse is figuring McAdorey is moving to attack.
