The reason we play in the cuse every year is because BOTH coaches agree to it. It is not Alberici going to Gait/Desko with his hat in his hands begging for a West Point game and getting laughed out of his office. If Alberici was really pushing for a West Point game between the two teams we would have done it by now. Simple as that. They recruit upstate as much as any school in the country and that is definitely a part of it.

Cornell Hop MD plus the ACC is as big of a gauntlet as you can get. Besides Princeton that is literally all the projected top teams next year. This list (especially if Army is actually off) seems like we are trying to take it relatively easy in games that do not include those opponents. Overall I don't mind it, but wish we found a way to not make it at the expense of our longtime rivals. There are teams equivalent to Hobart and Army on here that they could easily replace in terms of difficulty/RPI. I assume some schedule conflicts factored in. Does this trend of neutral sight games create more scheduling conflicts?
