And both the city and the University are going through dynamic changes that impact that luxury. I agree the city and University should work more closely to solution optimal parking and traffic plans. If nothing else it helps the perception that an effort is being made to optimize the impact on fans. Fact of the matter in it has been multiple years since parking renewals were sunset. We have struggled for multiple years with trying to ensure core team members of the largest tailgate in Syracuse have access to parking spots so they can transport equipment and work the food lines to provide a world class experience for all attendees. Absent a new stadium being built in a more amenable location and given the ever changing nature of the real estate around the main campus compounded with the I81 teardown we will be faced with these issues for the foreseeable future. I certainly can empathize with the frustrations it causes for displaced fans. And it can be a bitter pill to swallow if you’re affected. But at that point it becomes a personal decision. If a longer walk or shuttle ride so degrades the experience that it no longer is attractive to attend games, give up your tickets and cheer the teams on from home or your favorite watering hole.
