1st week is always a challenge now made more complicated by the fact half the games are cancelled or re-scheduled.  Anway enough of my diatribe here are my 4 picks (subject to change)

ROMO + 10.5  - Game has already been moved to Monday and the weather looks to still be frigid. Hopkins apparently had some struggles in it's pre-season scrimmage and has major question marks at the Dot and in Goal. They will surely win and could cover late but getting the hook here makes it to good to pass up.

PSU -4 - Indoor or not this to me is the lock of the week. Gate lost almost everyone with a pulse on offense and that great 10 man ride is a bit nullified as PSU has seen it 3 times in the last 2 seasons. This should be Penn State by a lot.

Lafayette -1.5  - A bit of gamble as they lose their best player to graduation from last year but Lafayette was a team who seems poised to keep up the good work they did last year an AF lost Yago to ND.

Rutgers -5 - I will probably regret this but Rutgers should win this game the question is by how much. I worry about a late back door cover here but Rutgers defense and rope unit should be excellent in this game and Jaxville seems to be a slow starter most years. Game I am least comfortable on but I couldn't bring myself to take some of the deep underdogs this week.
