And while its possible Lott could play if needed and be serviceable , any dependence on a true freshman QB is not something we should count on at all. So I don't want to even consider Lott as QB3 at this point considering any possible uncertainty of Angeli's health. We saw why this past season. My uneasiness is if Angeli isn't ready to go. I'm not a doctor and I didn't even stay in a holiday in last night. So i'm not sure what the likelihood of him being ready in the weeks before the start of the season. is it maybe 90%? I don't know.  I'm just saying there is some chance he isn't ready and then I'm a little nervous.  Now maybe if others are saying he is looking good so far maybe that raises the likelihood a lot?  For the instances where athletes are not ready in 10 months or so, maybe that slow progress presents itself at this time.  If that is the case, then awesome.

If Angeli is ready to go, I think Odom will certainly be better than Rickie, so that is a great start.
