Trying to do some math and a look ahead to next season. The following is a summary of posts on this site and other readily available sources.

The 2025 team roster listed 25 players. Ten of the 25 were SRs or GS. Five of the ten were regular starters: Hutt, Brdaric, Wigg, Zambrano and Leibold. Probably at least 4 of the top key players in 2025. My recollection is that 4 of the other 5 in this category occasionally started or played meaningful minutes but had lesser roles as the season progressed (possibly due to injury for some).

Of the original remaining 15, 4 freshman players have opted to move on. Collectively, they rarely saw the pitch.

The returning 11 are:

Returning GK: Jansen and Martinez-Bastio. Neither played in a regular season game.

Returning Defender: Holman*

Returning Midfielders: Scott*, DaCosta*, Fortier*, Irinimbabazi*

Returning Defender/MF: Omeze*, Rodriguez*

Returning MF/: Ming*

Returning /: Darko*

* Regular or part-time starter and/or regular by the end of the season. Thus, good news is 9 of the 11 are likely or potential starters and all can be expected to play key roles. That said need defenders and numbers.

Needs by priority: Defenders; Forward/Attack; 3d GK; MF

Would expect Honeywood might start as a Defender. Would expect Kist might possibly start.

Looks like team needs to add to the roster. There is a May 1-15 portal for men’s soccer. Also, players from Europe are a possibility as well as Div2, JUCO, NAIA and HS.

Any chance there is any possibility of the rumored return of Dominic Bell?
