I don't know how he'd be able to do both spring football practice and lacrosse regular season. That would be a crazy time commitment. Especially at a DI school. I haven't gotten the sense that any of the Football/Lacrosse players have ever done both at the same time. No lacrosse player is doing Fall Ball right now. That's my main worry with Joe Filardi. High end lacrosse recruit has basically given up a whole year of development (left high school early for football spring ball, misses lacrosse fall ball), and he's not even third string for the football team. Jordan Faison obviously plays and plays well for the ND football team but took a step back on the lacrosse field last year. Still not sure how Matt Jeffery was named ACC Rookie of the Year, but I don't think he lived up to billing last year and he is spending another year playing football to get mop up duty. I know being on a DI football team must be 1000 cooler than being on a lacrosse team, but I don't know, I feel like I'd want to dedicate my time to a sport that I could make a huge impact, instead of playing mop up duty. That's just me though (and I couldn't do either, for the record).
