I ranked each teams offensive minus defensive yards per play against p5 opponents. I didn't include the giant list but it looks pretty correct. good teams are at the top.
We're top 25 (24th to be exact) and we got FSU and ND out of the way already.
Man, that is frustrating. But this type of discrepancy won't persist. Hell even if McDonald were still calling plays it wouldn't continue to be so bad. It's that strange.
Over the long haul with lots of teams and lots of games, if you get more yards per play than your opponents you're going to win.
In 2012 with the great Doug Marrone, we were 36th.
Hope we get to a bowl this year just for practices and short term fun but this is encouraging for the future
