Had a chance to watch a little yesterday need to keep things here but a couple of observations.

Wilson or Kimble for sure at second QB. Both look the part Long is really small much more so than i thought not sure about him long term hope he is fast. The team looks to be in fantastic shape didnt really see anyone who didnt seem fit. OL is huge, Monsters all over the place just really big people and they look athletic as well. Tall and long. The kid from Chicago is a house and the new kid from Washington is pretty darn big himself. In short we sure as heck look the part and i doubt we will be physically dominated by anyone with the possible exception of our NFL game against Fstate. Go Cuse!

Long looks tiny compared to the other QB's in every practice picture they put up over at the newspaper site. I'm surprised we offered him as a QB. It doesn't mean he can't play because we know small QB's can be fine in college but it's that noticeable.

He is shorter and slighter than the other guys doesnt mean he wont grow but i doubt he is actually 5-10 Look wise i like Wilson the best hope to be allowed at one more while im home

Thanks for posting. Much appreciated.

Not much more to post other than the coaches really seem to be working well together and the kids all seem to take to them. Nice blend of structure and encouragment.

Good post kcsu. Kimble is a stud. If he isn't the backup, then Wilson made massive strides.

Feel like you meant to put that on the pay board. Ah well, never hurts to treat the mouth breathers.

I feel like people have really cooled on Long and I'm not sure why. Looks like a great water bug QB prospect to me. I think he has a chance to be an electric playmaker.

Thank you Rocco. Not sure if you get to watch practice ever but when im back i can usually get a kitchen pass through my Dad. I have been watching SU since 62 used to shag balls back when Larry C was playing after school and the guys were being put through the paratrooper work outs by Ben so it is something that i really enjoy. Of all of the staffs that i have been around this one seems like the best. The staff that had Saben on it was also fun to watch as they really got after it. These guys really seem to have a great way with the kids not sure how that will translate in to Wins and loses but a tight team one that respects vs fears their coaches seems to work best just like at work. Love your post and hope to meet you guys at a fine mess this year take care.

From a distance I get the impression this staff is special so I am pleased to hear your sentiments. That is one big statement and I am sure you don't say it lightly.

I have been rooting for Austin ever since they recruited Zach Allen over him and he never flinched - just welcomed the competition.

With Edouard gone, Kimble probably has more upside than any of the QB's on the roster.

If Edouard does not make it back at all, does that change our recruiting strategy for this year? Do we suddenly want to take a QB with one of our few spots left?
