Although today was a 5 point loss, did you honestly think at any point during the game that we had a chance of beating them? I certainly didn’t. They are a winning program, they were always going to find a way to win this game. If they had needed to do more to win, they would have done it. We have some young talent that will develop if they stay, but right now we are extremely easy to beat. Look at the UNC game as a recent example. Don’t let the close score fool you. UVA is a winner right now and we are not. We spent many years with that winning “thing” whatever it is, but we haven’t had it for at least 6 years now and really only in flashes in the 2015-2017 period.
