This was a monster game.  Can't tell you how big this game was for our national perception we just blew it big time.   We have all had those this program is finally turning the corner moments before and failed but this one truly hurt us more than others and here is why...We have talent now.   We have some top end talent on offense.   We have Dungey, Fredricks, Erv and Ish.  We have what looks like a future now.  Not promises of getting wins and our recruiting will get better.  We have real legit players on offense and needed this win to keep the buzz going in the positive direction.  But instead the COACHING staff let down the players, fans and university.   Just an awful coaching job by Lester and Shafer.   Good programs can take a What loss every now and again.   Programs trying to come back to former glory can't take losses like this.  It is crushing.

And we can make the win up and probably still make a bowl game but our momentum we were creating nationally just took a big hit and it lays at the feet of the coaching staff.   Terrible game plan it kills me they had 2 weeks to game plan for that and that is the game plan they came up with that is what is scary.

Everyone is telling me our overall talent is improving and I agree Shafer and Lester are doing a great job bringing in some new fresh talent to the program but if they can't coach them then what is the talent worth?
