They just said the B10 was 0-5 on New Year's last year. This year they are losing 4 games so far with the Rose Bowl coming up.

I'm not trying to say that the B10 isn't a good conference but they don't deserve all of the attention/accolades they get every year - they are nowhere near the level of the SEC but the media talks about them as if they are (at times).

While I appreciate all the talk of one particularly over rated conference, the greater point here is that once again we are seeing an example of 1) how offense in college can work and 2) how good offense in college trumps good defense.

And yet the best two defensive teams are playing for the anjtional title.

But in the NFL the worst two defesnive teams are the #1 seeds. Go figure. :crazy:
