still not sure what they did to mess the clock up late. either the clock is running or we should have had 33.. they ruled it was a stopped clock. by that rule then the lemon penalty does not cause a clock run off as the clock was not running..

it should have been a running clock after the formation penalty since the play never happens on the penalty. i think the messed it up about 4-5 times in the last 30 seconds.

That head ref seemed overwhelmed

sales also made the catch with 8 secs. the refs can be seen stopping the clock for the first down and yet it ran on as well. and what is the replay judge thinking not stopping to review a potential game winning catch that late? was is hand too busy wiping off the nacho cheese to buzz down?

Sales was "tackled" with ten seconds left. Then after Hillsborough CC's alleged timeout nullified Nassib's TD, the clock said one second, but the refs reset it to six seconds. It should have been reset to ten seconds.

Yeah! Did we have the fastest chain guys ever or did the clock not stop after Sales' first down catch at the 1?

I think the clock stopped at a second only because Nassib's QB sneak was a touchdown.

Things were happening too fast and the ref in the booth didn't have time to shake his magic 8 ball to see what the answer should be.

I thought the clock should have stopped after the first down and then reset once they got to the line and I knew it didn't take 17 seconds for that to happen.

That was not a timeout. The TV guys said it was, but the only thing it could have been was an official review of the Lemon play. Of course they didn't tell us that.
