Is the Caesars Sportsbo0k spread too high ... or too low?

What was the point spread for the Grob game?

Easy money, Notre Dame’s starters will be in and out to stay healthy for the postseason imo. ND will be 75%, which is enough to beat us by multiple TD’s but not 30 points+

I wouldn’t touch this game. Notre Dame is going to be very simple this week.
They won’t want to waste anything they are saving in their playbook.

I don’t think Notre Dame will throw the ball that much.
Our offense won’t do much on them.
This is a stay away game.

38-3 type of game.

The will keep it simple but they certainly should run up the score to impress the CFB committee. Should chaos happen why leave things to chance should they lose to Clemson. If I were Kelly I would want 38-3 at halftime and then score another 38 with my 2nd string in the 2nd half.

I'm not a gambler, but I suspect the margin will be dictated by how many points we give them that they just can't refuse. A couple pick six's, or 75 yard untouched runs, might allow them to cover even if they play 2nd and 3rd string the entire second half.

I think we should propose a running clock beginning with kickoff.

And through halftime.

Halftime may be a bit excessive but I wouldn't be opposed to the running clock idea in general :)

one of the coldest games I've been to. I went to the pep rally the night before and was blown away by the whole spectacle.

Everyone should attend a ND home game at some point. It's a special place
You lost me at 'one of the coldest games i've been to' - I'm still really happy we play inside. Like might not even get season's if we were still outside. Just buy the early season 3 game package and grab seats to one bleacher blizzard if we were relevant. It's much easier to watch crappy football inside.

Maybe ND will rest their starters now...

Actually may be more incentive to play the starters longer knowing they have a week off to rest and prepare for Clemson and also won't have to play @ Wake Forest who I believe would have given them a decent game.

I don't buy the Kelly will run it up theory cited above. I've been on ND several times in the past where they were clearly in control and he took his foot off the gas pedal, much to my chagrin. There are several other coaches- Dabo, Day, Riley, Franklin come to mind - that are happy to keep their foot on the gas.

Its Senior Day. Plus, ND is going for an undefeated regular season.

It would be the second undefeated regular season in three years and third one overall for Kelly at ND.

(He had one at Cincinnati in 2009)

So, I don't think that ND will rest its starters and think that ND has something to play for on Saturday.

You can rest your starters for the 2nd half.

Or the last 3 quarters.

Actually, just score on the opening drive and you can probably call it a day. ;)

Too low. This is Notre Dame's last chance to impress the committee. They will not let up. Lay the points.
