Buck up. 90% of us saw being 4-2, at best, by this point before the season started. Lets get to 6.

We were 4-8 last year. Our dreams of somehow being 11-1 were nice, but dreams.

Lets get 5 at UNC.

Most fans think we can beat Pittsburgh by 14, 21 or 28. But Vegas thinks only 3 points. We need to take baby steps. We haven't been ranked since 2001. Our problem is not easy to be fixed. That being said, it seems we were in the fast track to fix all our problems. If we could get ranked by beating Pitt and UNC, then fortified our status in college football world by Carrier Dome renovation. Now the fast track chance is gone, we need to take the right baby steps. Just it may take not just one season.

Up 10 points in the 4th qtr last week did you have the same thought?

Admittedly, no. But losses tend to be sobering. Especially against pitt.

Yeah, this is where I think we thought the record should be right now.

It's just disappointing to see us incapable of taking a bigger step forward today.

WE really are close. Everyone needs to relax and calibrate their expectations to what they were initially.

We are a 6-8 win team. We r competing in every game. Team reminds me of the 1999 squad. We are an entertaining group. I’ve never been more invested in SU football than right now.

I’m gonna take a long break from this place and gear up for second half of season and enjoy it all. We r gonna be fine.

Until this team has a decent running back, we will continue to struggle. Neal and Strickland have had 2 and 1/2 years, and they aren't the answer. Dino has 1 week to try to get Howard up to speed.

The good news I was told by person very close to the he program that next year we will have one of the best RB’s in the last 20 years lining up in the back field. He told me that Abdul Adams dominates in practice. In addition he also had raves reviews for WR Tristhton Jackson.

Well those 3 runs up the middle from our 10 yard line should be more effective than. Maybe we'll get 7 yards and more room to punt.

I don't usually post too much on the football side of this forum. This loss stings badly. My greatest concern going forward will be wanting to see defensive adjustments. If I was an opposing coach I'd pound the ball down our throats until we prove we can stop it because for the second week in a row we knew exactly what was coming in the fourth quarter and we were completely helpless to stop the run. We'll be able to out score some of the teams on the remaining schedule, but the defense has been exposed big time.

That said, I think it's crazy to say we're not an improved team. Babers is a charismatic coach. We've got a good offensive team. We've got a good kicking game/special teams. But we've got a long way to go on run defense. This team will have a gut check going forward. Get mad and improve or tank. I think they'll win going away next game.

Alls I’m going to say is welcome back from la la land. This team was not going to go 11-1 or 10-2.

6-7 wins is stil the goal and a major turn around.

Gotta shut up and stop talking this team up to ourselves

Adam Terry said on radio Adams is teams best RB. Hate to already consider a "lookahead" but DeVito, Adams, Neal, Howard, N. Johnson, Harris, Jackson. Good core. OL as always a question mark.
