-4 yards rushing, is that a record?

Very interested to see how our defense looks against Maryland who obliterated a terrible Howard team.

We didn’t do anything exotic and we had size, speed and talent flashing all over the field on defense.

If they look dominant again, I’ll be ready to make some extravagant proclamations.

I was impressed off of the fact that they might have sent a couple of blitzes at Liberty all game. It was man to man the entire way and the front seven wreaked havoc. We'll see what happens when they unleash the hounds next Saturday.

Trill and Cisco, size wise, could match up against anyone in the nation.

If we get beaten, it’ll be because the other team seized control of the run game.

Maybe I'm remembering it wrong, but didn't we hold Florida to something like -17 in '91?

I always thought this was a weird stat because they count sacks as a rushing attempt and they add the -50 yards from sacks to the rushing totals.

That '59 team D rushing stats blow my mind every time I see them in print. I know it was a different game but still amazing

Unfortunately, we also had the fewest rushing yards and fewest net yards in NCAA history, (they began keeping records in 1938). :(

The Most Unbreakable Records in College Football

I've never seen a game where both teams wore white jerseys before.

No

That 1959 team was absolutely nuts! They held three teams - in a 9 game season - to negative rushing yards! In one-third of their games, you were going to lose yardage on the ground against us! In an era when teams seldom passed! That is just so unbelievable. LOL
