Yeah with the majority of those passes just to the sidelines. No slants over the middle. Only one rollout pass which was dropped by Benson. Its weird that fans can see the strengths and weaknesses of the players but apparently the coaches are blind to it.

I started looking up the points for vs points against during our ACC series with UL.

It’s horrifying.

The atrocious passing game is really the story. Every team knows we can't throw. There really is no excuse for any defense to let us run on them. We just can't threaten them beyond 5 yards past the LOS. I'm not sure how much is Shrader versus the WRs. I tend to lean toward WRs. For us to take another step next year some young guys need to emerge or we need to find a stud in the portal.

We have to be the worst passing team in the country. It feels like defensive coordinators are becoming more and more confident of selling out against the run. I don’t see how this changes next week.

Against a team that had one of the worst pass defenses in the country. And had lost their best cover corner to injury.

It's so broken and really needs fixing. The run game and defense provided air cover, but finding out what happens when that formula doesn't work wasn't pleasant.
