I love Dungey, but that ball was thrown when our receiver was completely behind the defensive player. Our guy had no chance at it and the DB could hardly miss catching the ball.

I have noticed that there is a tendency for ED to throw the ball into what appears to me to be a 50%-50% situation between the SU receiver and the DB assuming that our guy (especially Ishmael) will end up with it. It's worked a lot and ED may have been told to throw it and trust the WR's.

On play I'd like to have the coach's logic behind was our first running play. It was a sweep and it gained nothing.

I have been told many, many times that you can't run outside on these Southern teams with their superior speed. They didn't try it again.

But it may be that the SU assessment of FSU was that they weren't going to be able to run inside either. Sometimes plays are run for the sole purpose of setting other plays up and this may have been the case with that lone sweep.
