we're 13th in attempts and 112th in conversion percentage

this doesn't mean we should go for it less, but it's part of the reason

0-6 with a pick on 4th down passing (devito is 0-5 with a pick)

i don't remember where these plays came or if they matter much in the end but once we're competent again, going for it more will help us get more plays for the offense and fewer for the defense

3rd and 1 is a lost cause.. not sure why 4th and anything would work.

all the more reason in the red zone to call the plays in a different order.. I love TE throws but do it early not late in the series.

we got into some good spots in the FSU game and failed.. maybe how the last few drives went it bleeds into some better run sets this week

we get into those spots and the teams just blitz us to death.. maybe we need to just live with that and release the TEs.

it's obviously one of the reasons why we're not going for it in spots we normally would. (and then the game day thread goes bonkers.)

Uniforms are sharp.

Band has a lot of tubas.

Home crowds have been good.

That's all I got.
We still need more tubas. I’m pretty sure FSU band has double the tubas we have. They had 32 just on the current band

FSU has one of the best marching bands in the country. SU has more tubas than it has had in years. 2019 SUMB is pretty much = 2018 SU football, in regards to tubas.
I hope that doesnt mean we are going to expect even more tubas next year and come out with less lol

"this doesn't mean we should go for it less"... Ohhhh YES IT DOES!!!

That is unless you are completely out of options and the game clock dictates it.

It's almost laughable. SInce we are 0%, we are automatically at the bottom of the stack ranks.

We might want to start thinking about punting with third and long. It'll save wear and tear on the QBs. Prior to the snap, those LBs and DBs on the opposing teams look like racehorses straining at the gate before the bell.

The fans won't like it much. But the Devito family, the team doctors and the teams insurance company might like it.

Small sample, try to win. We are behind a lot

Yeah. I get it.

But I keep thinking about that saying, "When you are in a hole the first thing you do is stop digging."
I think about the saying, try to win and don't stupidly give the other team the ball when you need it

field position play a huge part of this too. hard to be aggressive inside your own 30 all game
