Florida is No. 1, Wichita State is No. 2, Arizona is No. 3, Kansas is No. 5. Duke falls on spot to No. 6. Virginia up to No. 12.

Wow can't believe Duke fell.

How does Duke fall a spot after going 2-1 on the week, with the loss being on the road to their top rival and beating the number 1 team at home?

Duke and Kansas have the same amount of losses (6), but Kansas has done it against the hardest schedule in college basketball. They deserve to be ranked ahead.

I just think it's funny, because the last time we played Duke and THEY LOST to us, they moved up a few spots in the rankings. :noidea:

I can see voting Fla or Wich St. as #1 but I am not sure how Arizona gets #1 votes.
az played well this week. I think there are voters not convinced about uf (who really struggled this week) and wich. Who else do u vote for?

I'm surprised michigan st isn't in the top ten. I thought everyone thinks they are the best team.

#4 is not bad at all.
And, we don't have to listen to sportswriters and columnists drone on about how undeserving Syracuse is of #1 votes.

A) Double digit win @Pitt + OT loss @ Cuse
vs
B) Loss @UNC, Saturday's game.

A is the better week and it's not really close.

They also won a road game at Georgia Tech. I know that's not really adding to the resume all that much, but it's still a road conference game. Winning an ACC road game, losing on the road to the 19th ranked team and beating the 4th ranked team (in the new polls; number 1 at the time) shouldn't equal dropping in the polls.

Earlier in the season it looked like the Big Ten could have multiple #1 seeds, but certainly not anymore.
