We are the second lowest scoring team of the 19 teams that are averaging over 500 yards per game. It's interesting that the two lowest scoring of those teams are the ones with thew worst rushing numbers. That may be why Marrone and Hackett are still trying to establish our running game. Perhaps with Pugh coming back and the young runners coming along, we will be able to improve that. Some of the things we have done to ourselves in terms of field position, when to take a chance, settling for field goals and missing a couple are factors, as well. The scoring average for the nineteen 500 yard/game teams is 43.5, more than 10 points a game more than ours.
 
We are doing a good job of moving up and down the field but we've got to be more consistent with the running attack, (and if we can't be we've got to go to the passing attack earlier), and more effiicient when we have a scoring opportunity.
