...in three games in Maui for Tyler Ennis and he doesn't make the all-tournament team. He had 9 assists and 0 turnovers in the final and we had 25 turnovers as a team in three games. I'd have voted for him for MVP.

Of course, we had three other guys with pretty good lines, too:

CJ Fair 54 points, 19 rebounds, 3 assists, 8 turnovers.

Jerami Grant 50 points, 16 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 turnover

Trevor Cooney 49 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists, 4 turnovers.

It's nice to have so many good players that they kind of cancel each other out when it comes to awards.

As I said in the other thread, I believe we are witnessing greatness from the lead guard position.

Not suggesting that he's got it all figured out quite yet, but I predict he's going to get better and better and better as this season wears on.

Kid is a special talent at lead guard.

Ennis did deserve to be on the all-tourney team and even MVP. What I find amazing is that he was the 5th best PG coming out of high school last year. He is everything you want out of a PG. Here is your top 5 from last year:

min PPG Reb Ass Ste Blo to FG FT 3-pt
1. Aa Harrison - 28.3 13.6 3.0 1.4 1.0 .6 1.3 .397 .756 .286
2. K. Hill 26.5 10.3 1.5 4.3 2.3 .5 1.0 .469 .733 .000 Only played in 4 games
3. R. Jordan 18.0 5.3 2.3 2.8 .8 oo 2.0 .241 .600 .167 Only played I four games, Suspended at least 1 game for violation of team rules.
4. N. W. Goss 31.8 13.3 4.0 5.0 1.7 .3 1.5 .464 .682 .167
5. T. Ennis 31.7 11.7 3.1 4.7 2.9 .3 1.1 .365 .806 .389

I am a little bias but I would take Ennis and Williams-Goss before all of the first three. I haven't seen Goss play yet, but Ennis plays with ice in his veins and seems to always be in control. This is exactly what you want form your PG.
