Yeah I mean talking with the wife, I was like 2 or 3 years ago we would have been down 40-10 and seeing 3 yards and a cloud of dust on way to a 3 and out.

To think we’re literally an OT loss at Pitt and a 4 pt loss on the road to #2 Clemson away from being 8-0. Really fun season so far!

Yes BC had 9 passing yards way before Rutgers made passing for 15 yards or less chic. So 93 total. It was a fitting end to the Shafer era and he had to be ecstatic to win his final meathead battle with The Dazzler in such a fashion. His players, impressed with this, carried their triumphant meathead off of the field. The Dazzler still coaches but on that day, Shafer truly was King of the Meatheads.

Defense did exactly what we needed it to. It got the stop when we needed it and held the opposing teams to less points than the offense.

This program is going to win with offense under Babers. Giving up points is just going to happen. We aren't going to win every game 51-14

To be honest I don't care how we win as long as we win. I'm as nervous when our defense is on the field now as I used to be when our offense was on the field. I didn't have much fun a few weeks ago when we lost to Pitt. As some have pointed out, having a high powered offense is what will get us noticed and get recruits interested and that will lead to more winning, so yes, ultimately it's more fun.

So much more entertaining to watch a game like today's. Big plays happening left and right. My wife even stayed up til 130 watching the game with me on DVR. My 10 year old daughter asked if this meant we'd be ranked. She doesn't even know what that means or care about football but her friends are talking SU so shes "interested". Last week after the UNC game kids in my neighborhood were outside wearing Orange playing two hand touch running RPOs, lmao. Ultimate litmus test. Great time to be a Cuse fan.
