Finish! We shoulda, woulda, coulda scored 45-48 points this game but I will take 500 plus yards gained each and every game win or lose. We will win more games than not with that kind a offensive production.

I know that we left a lot of points on the board [two failed 4th down TD attemps inside the 3, two missed FGs] that might have put some lipstick on today's pig.

But it is hard to believe that we had 550+ yards. Just didn't feel that way, especially with how we played in the first half. The silver lining [hopefully] is that we've been playing reasonably well on offense, so when we don't completely excel it seems subpar. I would have killed for 500 yards of offense last year, after all.

But I'm surprised to see those numbers, post game. We did wrack up a lot of big plays in the second half, but it didn't feel like a 550+ yard game.

If i were motivated I'd love to figure out how many yards we get in the marginal plays from playing fast and getting more plays ( not marginal as in bad but as in extra plays at the margin) . Would also love to know how most defenses do on those marginal plays

I was thinking as went 3 and out a few times that at least we did it fast and left probably 5-6 more min on the clock

we ran an 11 play drive in under 3 min. a 5 play 78 in 1:26 a nine play 85 yd drive in 3:30

8 drives of 40 yds or more none taking 4 min.

My bad it wasn't 550 yards - we had 335 yards passing, 214 yards rushing = 549 yards total offense. We must be slipping...

There's no negative to 550 yards my friend. Only you would try to find fault in it because it's not the type of offense you want them to run.
