50% of the boys in CNY kindergarten classes will be named Buddy.

Teachers who moved here recently from other areas (and teachers who don't follow college basketball) will be scratching their heads, trying to figure out the reason for this phenomenon.

And when these same kindergartners find themselves in trying situations they'll be taught to ask themselves...WWBD

This leads me to a random thought I had... Buddy Buckets is too obvious of a nickname. He should have been called Buddy Butter.

I worked with Andrew Jackson and Grover Cleveland. No kidding. Also had an apartment manager named Mary Christmas. I had gf in college whose father was Harold Bush and went by Harry. Almost laughed in his face when we were introduced. He was FBI, so luckily I didn’t.

Had a Mike Hawk a grade below me in HS. Teachers taking attendance was absolute gold. What were the parents thinking?

When I was in 7th grade, I was given an egg to take care of for a week without breaking it with a 7th grade girl to teach us how we weren't old enough to be responsible for a baby. I insisted we name the egg Sherman.

I've known a guy named Harry Headd who was bald and another named Richard Less and went by Dick. No kidding, saw him at Adesa in Cicero this past summer. I said Hi Dick and my friend said whose that? He snorted his Sprite through his nose when I told him. Thats some cruel parents.

Had a diesel engine teacher named Dick Hands. He had a fishing boat named All Hands that sunk at a boat ramp
.

Jim is so old fashioned. Buddy was a very popular name before WW II.

I recently worked for a company using the antiquated Pick Operating System. It was, of course, created in the 1970’s by Dick Pick. I believe he passed away before his name took on a new meaning.
