You say I hate the Boeheim family. That is just plain ridiculous. I have the opinion, as do many others on this forum, that the game has passed Jimmy by, and that it is time for a change. It is indisputable that the program has been on a long, slow decline. We are not talking one or two bad seasons here. Everybody gets passed by by Father Time sooner or later. Father Time and the evolution of the game have caught up with Jimmy IMHO. That opinion does not make me a hater. I value Jimmy's accomplishments as much as any fan on this forum, but that does not mean it is not time to move on. As for his kids, I have zero issue with either one of them. They both try hard, and it is not their fault if Dad shows favoritism (and, yes, I believe Jimmy does show favoritism). I would love to have Buddy and Jimmy on any college level squad, the problem is that there is something really wrong with recruiting, coaching, and roster construction when they both need to play 35 MPG, give or take. And it is inexcusable that there is no decline in those minutes in a runaway game that precludes anybody else getting a chance to play or develop. [/QUOTE]
