I actually agree with your sentiment, but I would say that this was more than a "moment". To be that callous and harsh with someone you don't know is indicative of who that person actually is. I've had awful days, I've had my car towed, I've had multiple tickets on a given day and never not once did I ever think about berating someone I don't know to such an extent as she did. And I'm not even saying I'm a good person. This was a light shining into who she really is. An unscripted moment that shows her character. I don't think it has anything to do with her being a news person. There are a$$ holes in all walks of life. She just happens to be a public figure who decided not to care that a camera was on her when she lambasted someone that wasn't as pretty as her or as smart as her. I also think it shows a level of immaturity on her part that she resorts to a personal attack on someone she doesn't know as a means of verbal sparring. I think I stopped doing that in about 8th grade. Pretty bad all around for her. Hope she takes a long hard look in the mirror, and decides to truly change who she is. Not sure it's possible, but maybe it is. One of the worst parts was the AWFUL P.R. statement that she made shortly after. You know how I know it's bad P.R.? When it is so shallowly done, it's obvious it is P.R. Just bad damage control there.
