In many ways, that's the story of the season.
I'd be shocked if there's ever been a year that was so black and white. By my count, only 2 games were decided by 5 points or less: Gtown & Duke.
The outcome of the remaining games was unlikely to change. Yes, there were injuries which may have altered outcomes (Howard for us, Pfluegger for ND, etc...) but that's far more speculative.
I see a 9 seed with a win on Wednesday, and a 10 with a loss. We probably could have absorbed losing one of Duke/Gtown, but losing both would have been very dicey.
