It's important that he does, because I don't think the defense can handle that much action in one game, again.  The defense also needs a boost to their confidence and start playing with more of an edge. They looked sharp against ND early but their shorties got beat a few times and then it looked like every man for themselves. I don't know how talented this unit is to be honest, but they are better than what they showed against Notre Dame.  As a unit they have to start recognizing situations better - don't needlessly slide to an attackman being guarded by a longstick who is well covered, but also don't leave your shorties on an island.  I am not sure why time and time again we talk about the same issues with this team, but they need to right the ship soon.
