A first for me.

Even in past years where we didn't make the tournament, I was excited to watch the tournament, for all the usual reasons. I oddly have zero interest, and had all I could do to fill out my bracket. What is happening? Has the sport changed so much it's losing it's hold on us? Will the television ratings plumet this year?

At least you filled out a bracket.

was out to dinner last night and my friend (duke grad) kept taking out his phone to check scores . tried to engage me and i told him couldn't care less. sad state of affairs. (although the pitino / calipari matchup is intriguing.)

I think I filled out a bracket once. Once. Decades ago.
I haven’t been this disinterested in the tournament since… last year. And every year since we’ve been in it, and every year since we‘ve been a factor. A continuous decline.

Surprisingly, though, I did watch the first 3/4 of St John’s game yesterday. A compelling storyline. But, 75% of one game was enough. I may not watch any more until the Final Four. Just don’t care, and there aren’t any/enough stars to care about. The one big name plays for a team I can’t stand, so…. I’ll be playing even more Super Mega Baseball 4.
