And the game is still over-coached because the shot clock is too long (should be 60 seconds or less). Make it a 60 or 45 second shot clock if the game is truly to be given back to the players. Until then, the free flowing nature of the game will continue to be diminished by coaching induced specialization. I'm grateful the first step was finally taken in 2019.
