Cam Henderson of Marshall is generally credited with inventing the 2-3 zone defense. He also is credited with inventing the fast break.

He also broke the color barrier in WV colleges when he signed future Syracuse Nat and OE fav Hal Greer.

Thanks Cam.

How times have changed.

early days jimmy b used to only go zone to try to hide his bigs who got in foul trouble.

codicil:
who is credited with inventing the twinkie defense?

The same person who created the Wookiee defense?

Edit: holy crap, I didn't realize the Twinkie defense was used by the guy who shot Harvey Milk.
