On paper big face-off advantage edge for Duke with Fowler, who's ranked #3 in the country. I think 'Cuse will be able to score on them but Duke's very good offensively (Midfield - Walsh, Lawson, and Tripucka) and (attack Wolfe, Dionne, and Matheis).

Scary stuff at the X, indeed. We somehow managed to lose every faceoff in the 2nd half against Denver, in embarassing fashion mind you. Yet, we came from behind to win. Crazy game. We had no business winning this one. Yet we did. Incredible stuff.

The key to Monday's game is tempering the offensive onslaught from Duke, with some of our own. We need to shoot well, much better than we did early against Denver.

Lamo and our D are playing consistently well. We need our offense to click in the 1st half.

It's an important game to re-establish ourselves as the dominant program in college lacrosse. Duke's been on a tear, and multiple NCs for them would be unbearable for me. In turn, this is the 1st time this senior class has been in the F4, much less the NC. During this senior class's tenure, lacrosse has enjoyed incredible TV exposure. So, winning the NC now would be perfect timing on many, many levels. Add more to our history, establish ourselves in the present, and be THE team to talk about, when the media is talking about lacross more than ever.
