This kid is the biggest sensation in college football this year, and by far its breakout star. Of course, due to the NCAA's insane rules, the only people who can profit off of his celebrity are A&M, the NCAA and the networks that carry A&M games.
Texas A&M appears to have started the process of trademarking "Johnny Football."
Have no idea whether Manziel is for real or whether he'll be exposed once SEC defenses get more time to figure out how to stop him, but it's just so messed up that these kids can't profit off of their often fleeting national or local celebrity.
