A New Record...

Same.

Am I also supposed to fully buy in that this will just magically turn around next year? What if Angeli gets hurt again?

One of my major concerns is there is no situation where Erob should return. It’s blatantly obvious. I get you need help from your offense but even last year with NFL talent the d was not good.

Need a new defensive staff and 2 good back up QBs and need to revamp the trenches on both sides .

Game became totally unwatchable less than halfway through the first quarter. Only reason I waited to turn it off 10 minutes in was to see the one series w Carney.

Never quit on a game that quickly before.
Ditto

I was busy outside today and it was late in the 4th quarter with about 4 minutes left when I came in and picked up my phone and the ESPN real time score was displaying on my lock screen and at first glance I only saw the 70 points and thought - was there a hoops game today I forgot about? Then I saw the 0 on the other side and was so glad I hadn't watch this debacle.
Just for grins, I did turn it on for the final 2 minutes to see if they could avoid a shutout so I got to watch what appeared to be the only bright spot of the game.

Notre Dame led 35-0 after the First Quarter. They possessed the ball for under one minute and 30 seconds.
they were also on the 1 yard line when time ran out in the first. then scored right as the 2nd quarter opened. was essentially 42-0 after q1.
