November...the last of 3 mini seasons

Our goal: 3 and 1
2 Home Games, 2 Away

Nov 2 BC
Nov 9 bye
Nov 16 at Duke
Nov 23 at Ville
Nov 30 Wake

We have to get by BC. This is the most pivotal game IMHO. We win on Saturday, does the first win since September and an extra bye week re-engerize the staff and players? Do they get back 1 or 2 players who have been out all season? Duke is beatable too. They are well coached but nothing special, they very likely could be 4-5 (bye, Notre Dame) when we meet.

Bring us into Louisville at 5-5 and let the chips fall where they may. Beating BC and Duke are not stretches. So if we can get to Louisville 5-5 we are one upset vs @Ville or Wake for a bowl game. (Please make it Tampa or Annapolis)

Way to get me amped up early on a Friday morning.

This saturdays game shows us what we have in a team. How much heart they have. This is a winnable game and we NEED to do it.

cant wait to be in the Dome Saturday cheering this team on!!!!

Agreed, TM.

As lousy as the season has unfolded, we can still turn things around.

Need to win 3 out of 4 to qualify for a bowl -- that's all that matters at this point. It isn't going to be easy.

At this point can we make every week a "New Season" . Getting another win right now , especially vs a rival, would be glorious. Then hopefully another after that and so forth.

Where's the Syracusefan spirt I used to know? Where's the guts? oooh we're afraid to go with you TexanMark we might get in trouble. Well they can kiss my arse! BC dead ! Duke dead ! L'ville dead ! Wake dead !

What has to change tomorrow for Syracuse University Football to be successful is for negative patterns that have developed to cease. This team must play with a sense of urgency, their backs are against the wall and the clock is ticking. In many ways, they have slept walked through the first 8 games of the season and now because of that, must play almost lights out for the final 4 games to avoid this season being an out and out disaster. Can they do it? Who knows but based on their seasons play, we should know pretty soon after kick off. Syracuse University Football, time to get rid of the old patterns that have deflated your season and for the next four games, play crisp solid fundamental football in all three facets and resurrect your season. Go Orange!!!!!

We will make a bowl game. The eagle, the cardinal and the blue devil will be juiced.

I just want to see the stupid penalties stop. Things that are easily correctable that have nothing to do with talent deficiencies or scheme. We only have so many feet to shoot ourselves in so if anything let’s correct that one in November please.

"New season starts on Saturday". I've been thinking that every week. It's hard to get amped up every week and watch us lay an egg in the first quarter. If you look in the Iggy prediction thread the worst few were 7-5 and I scoffed at them. Most had 10 wins penciled in. Now 7-5 seems unrealistic but I'll put on my Orange gear and scream at Dillon again. LGO.

The Cali Thread currently resembles post-war Berlin

Going in with great optimism, and expecting TD to have a big game. But, because I hope for the best and plan for the worst, I will have Makers at the ready.

2 things you can bank on (Besides the obvious of Dillon running the ball a ton) and I hope Syracuse is prepared for:
1. TE throwback
2. Dillon in the wildcat
BC always likes to throw to the tight end against Syracuse. 2017 in the Dome, it was run Dillon and then throw to a wide open tight end. Hopefully that does not happen in 2019. Go Orange!!!!!

We can’t be constantly playing from behind because of our atrocious first quarters.

Someone who has more time then me should look up our first quarter scores vs our opponents first quarter scores. Then again show our 2-4 quarter scores vs our opponents 2-4 quarter scores.

If we want to go 3-1 we need to show up from the kickoff.

Nice analysis, Mark.

But to be fair, our most pivotal games were Maryland and NC State, and we failed both those tests.
Now, a former 10 win team is just hoping to make a bowl.

That's why we need to hope a BC win at home sparks a revival of a team that seems like it has quit on the season.

Really? You statement was about historically not how good this team is. Try again.
funny, because 1 year completely DERAILS an established historical trend. You really crushed it, kid. Cheers!

I love it when people get snappy and try to mic drop on here.
