Matt Park's radio feed, even on FM< (which is usually faster than AM), is 45 seconds behind the TV feed in this game. in other games he's ahead of the feed, even with it or anywhere in between. Does anybody know why it would be differ from game to game? Just curious.

Doesn't it go out on satellite first? I sometimes listen to FM88 on headphones while watching the game on tv, and the radio broadcast is sometimes like 20 seconds ahead (I like to peek into the future).

Might be kind of why the U.S. Air Force wants to retain human fighter pilots/piloted fighter planes instead of going all drones. Enemy drones could be a big danger, but since they get their commands seconds later, human pilots with skill can pick 'em off easily.

Depends on production costs.
Most of these production trucks have to use to satellite to send these broadcasts that are syndicated.
This game is on Fox sports so it’s being syndicated they are likely using cheaper satellites to save money if it’s an ESPN primetime they are using higher production.

Just my educated guess. Park is probably on monitors broadcasting the game and they are delayed because of production.

I was typing my response while you put this.
Exactly the production trucks use satellites and the lower games use less expansive stuff.

I think that's it, at least for the games this year's road games. Matt is watching it on TV just like we are, then describing it. But there has been a wide variance in past years, too.

If Matt is streaming his feed, as I had to today, there will be a lengthy delay.
