We know Fine worked with the bigs. Is it possible his firing has in any way contributed to the rebounding problems? It has to be a new area of coaching for Hop.

this team was going to have rebounding problems no matter what. we don't have a true 4 other than xmas and he isn't ready for extensive duty. even melo, while 7', is not a banger. i dont think it has any impact at all imo.

I agree with Bees. The killer for us is no 4. And our 3 isn't a great rebounder.

The problem...as some have said for weeks...is the same reason the zone didn't work great w/ Pace as a . The Kris/CJ pair isn't big enough and Rak/James can't/don't rebound well enough to play to replace one or the other.

You need a Hak at PF w/ Melo on the weakside to rebound..or even a Joseph w/ Ricky as the PF.

Centers can help w/ rebounding but the majority of the time in the zone are pulled up. the boards are on the forwards, I'm shocked that Cuse fans that have watched us play it for a dillion years still don't understand this.
