A season with Florida State Football

Just an FYI. If you're one of the 15 people on the planet that subscribe to Showtime, they are doing a documentary following Florida State Football around for this season. Behind the scenses at practice, college life, on the road...cool stuff. Every Tuesday at 10 pm I believe, and Showtime on demand.
Not as well done as the HBO training camp docs, but an interesting look none the less.
Also on demand is last years "A season with Notre Dame Football"

I like it. It's, at least so far, pretty much a recruiting commercial for Florida State football. I really like seeing the personalities and stories of the guys we watch play, and some of the inside talk.

But considering it's completely disregarded a couple of negative things (Malik Henry suspension, Vic Viloria DUI after drinking with Showtime crew), it's not exactly a journalistic endeavor. The access they have is pretty remarkable, such as inside the injury tent on Saturday. But it doesn't look like you're going to see anything remotely controversial.

If that holds, it's a brilliant decision for Jimbo to agree to do this.
