Even if they get bullied in the post, the resulting mismatch is actually not generally worth pursuing because it takes you out of these normal flow of your offense. The same principle drives the "switch everything" philosophy. Until I see lydon put it on the floor consistently or beat up smaller guys in the post, I'll tend to think that playing him at the 3 would be a mistake. On D, though, I think he'll so great.
