As many on this board know i live in CO. When AAM was in HS he was really amazing. Thhe guy has great vision, quick feet, power and surprising top end speed. He was really a special back and was recruited by many. I thought that if Smith stayed he might transfer now im not sure. If he stays i hope that he is given an opportunity as i think he could really surprise next year. PTG George and Mac are all in the same mold and i believe we need a guy who can get that tough 2-3 yards. AAM can be that guy. If anyone has a read on his situation i would appreciate some feedback. Really good kid that i hope gets a chance.

He's staying. He was staying whether or not Jerome left. Just don't think this staff is all that thrilled about big backs. I think that was evident this season as someone else mentioned in another thread. Jerome leaving was 2 fold. We'll see I guess. Adonis will be more than ready for whatever is needed, that I can assure you.

Well, he is a fullback now. How many carries did our fullbacks get this year? I remember at least 1...I think.

Clay was a receiving type fullback, not so much running. Adonis is the opposite. We'll see what scheme/wrinkles the staff will come up with. Hopefully it's to play to the team and personnel's strengths.

Do you know this or are you speculating? If he's staying, that's great news IMO

This seems about right. If AAM can catch out of the backfield, and can block now and then, there is a role for him. But otherwise, this staff seems to be about less size, more speed. I'm hoping AAM can make it work. Always liked what he brought.

I remember that AAM showed up at school about 30 pounds overweight and got on Douggie's bad side from the gitgo. Then he showed up in the "tank" package and I think he somewhat redeemed himself. If he was at BC he would probably be a star but not in our offense.
