I mean as a LS he’s been great. But the NFL doesn’t draft snappers very often. He will have to go the UDFA route.

Yes for 5 years he did it right, and we have had centers who can't snap consistently.

went to a bowl game several years ago. happened to sit in from of the parents of the long snapper of one of the teams. they told me they held their breath on every snap, for the very reason you alluded to. no one notices the long snapper until a snap goes where it shouldn't. they also told me that their son had gone to one of the many summer camps strictly for snapping the ball. those camps gets heavily scouted by colleges. most teams do have one snapper on scholarship

I’m still emotionally scarred from the long snapping in 1999. Some 23 years later.

It’s the only season that I can remember punting on 4th and long inside your own 20 was the lower percentage play.
